…even without knowing a word in Russian

Yes, it is hard to get by in Russia without at least some knowledge of the Russian language. In Moscow and St. Petersburg it is relatively easy as there are some English-speaking people. In smaller Russian cities it is more difficult. But don’t lose hope!

Our office is located in Kirov (Vyatka), a city of about half a million residents. Every week there is an English club in New York Coffee cafe. I guess New York is getting popular in Kirov 🙂

Here is a short video of how the English club functions:

Well, I have to admit that the host is my daughter. All English speakers are welcome to come as guests. In these small groups you can meet local people, network and have friendly conversations. Admission fee is only $5.00 which includes freshly roasted coffee and cookies. I don’t know how my daughter manages her books, but I guess it works out for her.

By the way, that is not the only English club in town — there are at least 3 more, we’ll present you to the hosts. That’s how you’ll grow your network fast — within one week of visiting Kirov.

So guys, forget about stress and daily worries, come to Russia, network, meet wonderful people and build new connections. Most important — have fun!
